Close to getting my house and kinda excited that could finally get a dog. Also the crib is not in the best of neighborhoods(its ok) so a guard dog is a bonus. They're my two favorite breeds outside of Boxers but boxers are OD energetic from what i hear. Just like to hear from owners about your experiences

Even as a pup he was smart so he took
to commands and my body movements like a fish to water.
he's pretty chill but lets everybody around him knows that
he's the co-captain.
i've heard stories about them killing owners
but i'm calling bullshyt.

halloween pics at my aunts crib.

No but I saw one when we were lookin for dogs to adopt I saw a Cane Corso I woulda considered under slightly different circumstances.

Bully breed dogs are great; if you don't want a dog thats too rowdy u might consider a Rottweiler

OP all of these breeds are good dogs but make sure you have the time to train them. I had a Rottweiler when I was a kid and my dad ain't put in the time and by the time the dog was full grown he was a problem. He was a true guard dog. Not a family dog at all.

I had a rottweiler for about 14yrs before she died. She was a smart dog and well trained. Like Cat Piss said, a good dog will simply pick up on cues by the owners body language or tone of voice.

Cane Corsos, bullmastiffs are the same way. They are strong minded breeds and if you don't pay them attention or train them properly they'll run all over you and the last thing you want to deal with is a 160# dog who thinks he/she is the pack leader.
