Hate using the word but in the stereotypical sense

Oversized clothing, running in groups of 10, robbing people for dumb things (ie. shoes, electronics, etc), dumb block mentality, etc etc

I always see random kids outside like 15-16 year olds who fit that criteria and wonder where they will be in 5-10 years, interesting to see, a lot change

Anyone here go through it? If so, what made you change and when?

I had an incredibly strict upbringing. I tried sagging my pants once and my dad smacked me right in the back of the head. Scared as fukk, I started crying and pulled my pants back up, feeling very un-gangster.

Yeah, it wasn't a phase, it was life.

I stopped doing stupid teenage stuff when I turned 20. What's wild is that a lot of my dudes that I used to wild out with are still the same, but to a lesser degree. Some dudes aren't actors.:shaq:

Gangsta phase :what:

Y'all suburban nikkas kill me. nikkas that grew up in a fukked up community didn't call it a phase, we called it life. And yeah I stopped being bout dat life after nikkas started killed killed going to prison. They gave my boy 25 long when he was 26

Nig Im from the hood for my whole life, 21 years, theres a difference between a kid who become a well accomplished dope boy who now dresses well and has some courtesy. And then theres a dumbass whos 23, still rocking clothes from back in the day, not stacking his loot, saving for a $600 ring and still doing convenience stick ups, purse snatches, etc

I have nikkas doing numbers, I've done mines too, not saying that I've changed but exteriorly speaking a random person on the street wouldnt look at me that way while I'm doing better than fu*kboys who portraying that image

Nah, but I wore baggy clothes back in the late 90s and early 00s when the street culture was glorified everywhere in the media. I also have a mean mug that doesn't go away for some reason, but I control it in most social sessions.
