Words like thug, gangsta and gang I hate. They are overused.

I think most guys go through some time of hell raising type stage and either grow out of it or get deeper into it. I wouldn`t even just call it a black thing with actin gangsta, whiteboys act fukkin retarded too, as do cholos, chinamen, etc. It`s all the same.

Not really, I threatened to kill a classmate in middle school and got sent to alternative school and from there me and the only other black student proceeded to raise hell and rob the rich white kids either on the slick or outright. By comparison, I'm one of the better ones but I've done more than enough stupid shyt to advise my kids whenever they come to existance.

Nah, but I wore baggy clothes back in the late 90s and early 00s when the street culture was glorified everywhere in the media. I also have a mean mug that doesn't go away for some reason, but I control it in most social sessions.

Yeah... my dad was way tougher than me growing up, hahaha. I guess when he saw me trying to act that way, he was thinking, "Oh FAWK no! I didn't work my ass to get out of that shyt just to watch my son go right back."

I hate calling it a phase... For someone like me it was survival, it was either adapt and be a shark or be a goldfish. Besides fools, nikkas ain't thugs because they want to. If you are around negativity all the time, you tend to start being negative. I see what you're saying and I won't act like I don't though.

I used to be a terror on my community. I was selling drugs and stealing shyt up until I was 16 and realized I wanted to be something besides dead or in prison. For me it's like being in a car and someone throwing a grenade in that hoe and everyone dies except me. I watched alot of my friends end up in prison serving long stretches.

The last straw was watching my best friend get life without and the look on his face when they told him. His knees buckled and his mom let out a horried scream that stuck with me. From that point on I knew I could never put my family through that "keeping it real".
