You start out with a basic set of general cards and per-class cards. From there you can complete daily quests to rack up gold. Most days, you can only get 40 Gold from a daily quest. You also get 10 Gold for every 3 ranked wins. You can spend your gold on packs of cards (100 Gold for a pack of 5 cards) or you can spend it in Arena mode (150G to enter) which is basically like a tournament mode that rewards you based on your number of wins (12 max). I think you always get at least 1 pack of 5 cards. Of course you can use real money instead of gold to enter Arena or buy packs but I never do that. You can also craft cards using "dust". You can get rid of a card you don't want for say, 5 dust. It takes minimum 40 dust as far as I've seen to craft a card. So all in all, this collectible side of things is a grind-fest or you're spending money (I refuse).I'm interested in trying it but I haven't had to time.
how do you collect?
You didn't try playing against anyone? That's where the fun is for me. The tutorial was good though.I put about 3 hours into it on release day, unlocked all the classes in practice mode.
It's something I'd play while watching TV or if I can't sleep and need something to do.
Yeah, def good to play while doing other things. Especially with how long some people take to play.played it in beta. its fun to play while watching the NBA Playoffs![]()

I'm addicted to this. I don't like the "collectible" aspect but I love the strategy. Anyone else?
Nah, Magic requires two jobsI just tried this a week ago and can't stop. It's amazing how addictive it is. Was I missing out all those years ago when the geeks were playing Magic the Gathering?
