Buying it straight from the manufacturer is the only I know how to get a phone already unlocked

What model is the 7? If it’s a1660 it’s already unlocked. Anything else and it’s locked to a carrier, IE you have to call the carrier or submit an online form, and if you want it to be domestically unlocked it’s gotta be fully paid for otherwise they’ll deny that shyt

Otherwise I think most of those carrier unlock for X amount of money stuff are scams

If it’s not a a1660 tho many of them are gonna be GSM only models that’ll only partially work on CDMA bands, like an unlocked ATT iPhone 7 won’t work on Verizon
