I downloaded this app thats supposed to help you have lucid dreams, and one of the features is that is has notifications throughout the day to remind you if you if you're awake or not. :leon:

Is lucid dreaming that deep where you could get stuck in some inception reality and jump off a cliff because you dont know if you're awake or not?:damn::leostare:

Also for the vets, how easy is it for you to have lucid dreams and how long did it take you to learn? :ld:

The way my schedule is, sleep >> time, and why not put this mostly uused time to better use? :manny:

For me it's best when I wake up and hit :snooze: and go back to sleep

Your semi lucid right when you wake up, you always wake up out of the best dreams right? Just go back to sleep in the same position you sleep in. Your body stores your energetic dream self in that position.

But that takes practice. Try laying there and watching your body fall asleep. Stay conscious but let your body shut down. Your mind will still be on and it will be irritating as he'll but do it for a few nights. You won't even actually sleep. The trick is to learn separation of mind and body.

I've had some experiences were I could see my hand through my eyelids and move it. But I knew my physical arm wasn't moving. I opened my eyes and it was still laying there.

I've also seen my eyelids flood with light. And had my ears pierced in dreams by this girl "to find me again" I later started talking to her, literally met a girl from my dreams. Talked to her about all this astral type shyt, she lost interest.

Funny thing is, I met someone who looked just like her but older, pregnant and homeless crazy on the bus. She asked if I had a girlfriend. I said I'm talking to this girl right now. And she saw the picture she was like :ninja2:. I asked who the father was she said "me". The girl I was talking to cut me off eventually said she wanted nothing to do with me, and I was like "oh, really? Fine by me"

But I digress.

Keep a dream journal. One of the best methods in fact. It tells your brain to keep record of your trips to the other side. Tell yourself your going to lucid dream. Not "I'm going to try lucid dreaming tonight" just do it. (it won't work the first few times but with practice you can get it)

Watch the movie Waking Life.

I tried it once. Kept a dream diary and did all the reality checks. And I failed.

Then my family found my dream diary and were like "what the fukk is this?"

I'm just sat there like :leostare:

I used to more when i was younger and in late teens, my minds been clouded with more info and responsibilities but i actually did about a month ago. I always had total control over my lucid dreams but could never bend the realities on some inception shyt...most i could ever do was fly or materialize small objects. I could always control my words and actions but never the setting...i remember once i had one where the inside of an apartment was flooding but there was no water outside. :what: Seen myself sleeping only a few times though.

But in this dream i literally built this small Italian village, shyt popped up like the white room from the Matrix, populated it with friends/family/ random instagram chicks/ people i know from school and work ect. It got crazier but i NEVER had that level of control over my dreams, i even got to a point where i could make people just pop up.

I wrote it all down...

I have been lucid dreaming for a while now....While I am in a dream I am instantly aware I'm in the dream and I can basically do whatever I want lol

I am more aware of it when I am in a bad dream, and a monster or something is chasing me...I'll imagine a weapon in my hand, and I end up chasing it for the rest of the dream

I find it hard to grasp on to the dream when my body is trying to wake up, but I have been working on this and I have been able to get at least 3 more hours of sleep/dream time from when my body was first suppose to wake up

Its mad easy to lucid dream. Back when I was younger, i'd just smash broads in my dreams for the hell of it. I'll imagine them then imagine us alone. Its all about noticing somethin' that doesn't belong or never would happen, kinda like Inception with the totems. I use to be demonic about it and imagining beating someone to a pulp, but they would never die because I know its a dream and they're not actually being hurt :demonic:

I lucid dream at least 4 times a week. For me its about going to bed and getting at least 7 hours of sleep. The last hour or two is normally when the lucid "reality" dreams start for me. I treat it as a field trip to a different dimension most of the time so I don't get freaked out. When I know I'm in a different dimension and I know I'm visiting, things settle down. But when I first get there and start reacting like other people around me it is unsettling to say the least. Then I come to my senses, oh..I'm visiting. Then I remember my home dimension and everything after that is just note taking. I treat it as just a normal thing. I still mediate when I have time but at least once a month I do a sensory derivation mediation in the bathtub. Lights off, all machines cut off, and lay back in the water, close your eyes and focus on nothing.
