4Runner, Highlander, Explorer, Durango, Grand Cherokee, Pilot, Acadia, Traverse, etc...

all feature 3rd row seating. :manny:

yea but from what i have seen, very tight 3rd rows. my mother has a pilot and only short skinny people fit in the back.

what about the gas mileage? is it better than a minivan. im really asking. i have no idea.

it all depends on the models. with the hybrid/fuel efficient engines they put in cars now, you're bound to find something that sips gas and have the features you're looking for.

I'd take the hit in gas to not have to drive a minivan... Do your googles:googlefacts: on the others to see what the gas mileage looks like in comparison to the Odessey

Dope, i dig the new Explorers, the head & taillights look like the Range's
it's crazy as hell how the Range Rover's are on a next level, but you can get a well-equipped Explorer with damn near the same (if not more) features/options for a fraction of the price. whip got more options on it than I'd ever use. :whew:

You are screwed in a rear end collision, all you got is a rear door to take the impact. And that rear door is going to fold into the 3rd row like a pretzel.

3rd row seats only make sense in full sized SUV like Expeditions and Suburbans.

:ohhh: true

the thing is, one of those new SUVs does make more sense right now, but i have neither the credit or leftover cash to pay a car note.

i was thinking more like getting something from 08-12 for around 10k with good gas mileage and room for 8 passengers. plus parking is impossible to find around here, so a huge SUV is only gonna make it more difficult.

idk tho i still have time to do more research, but im really leaning towards an odyssey
