I just heard Quentin Tarantino interview about how after 10 films, he'll be done because he doesn't want to keep making films later on in life because he feels the quality will diminish. Will any rappers ever say anything like this? If the world where to end in 2 weeks :krs: who's career could be looked at and said "Oh yea, they kept their integrity". A fan in the new world will look at their albums and not notice an obvious fall-off.

I don't know how many of you guys are on that Canadian rap tip but there's a dude, Shad, who spits hot fire like Dylon

This dude going HAM, never heard him compromise the value of his shyt yet, everything he can be proud of. Not selling out yet, he seems to do it for the love of the music.

:whew:

He got some nice stuff on a few mixtapes, hardest artist's work I've ever had to dig to find online... I bought TSOL on iTunes, that's how hard he goes IMO. I had to buy his album.

:ohhh:

i got that TSOL digipak :wow:

hov, nas, pac and big, thats all i have for u

this is true. i also think that eminem will be a name that will be remembered for a long time. he's also (technically) collaborated with all of those artists now that i think about it.

also...i don't know what the man is gonna do with his career but if kendrick lamar met his fate tomorrow, it's possible that people would hype him up for a long time. his albums/mixtapes are all dope, in the street and critically. after seeing him live i know that if i get to be 80 i'ma still bump section 80.

:usure: eminem produced 'the cross'. not nas best joint but it did happen.

i agree somewhat that his success can be linked to his race. you can mos def argue that him being white gave him certain advantages. he has put out some garbage and will probably continue to do so.

he still has also displayed excellent lyricism and creativity with flows and concepts. he can actually spit off top and battle. those skills are becoming more and more rare these days. clearly you don't like his music and i stopped listening to eminem hardcore after 8th grade but he still made an impact...even if you just look at record sales.
