in case u never heard of them, these are auctions strictly for used car dealerships. the only people allowed are used car dealership owners who are licensed and they can bring 1 guest as their driver. very tight security about that too.

i went once back in 2004 or 2005. pops needed a van for work so this dude we know took us. we got a van that would have easily gone for 5 Gs and only paid 2 for it. gave the dealer that took us $500.

ima see if i can find somebody to take me this summer.

any of ya ever been?

I've heard of them. I have never gone for the reason you stated.

My pops got a dealers L back home and Ive been to a couple. The prices are crazy. Saw a Porshe Cayenne go for 7 racks one time. My pops got a '05 LS 430 at one about 4 years back for like 6 or 7 racks. He didnt even flip it, he still got that whip today. I sometimes buy cars that he or his homeboy who has a L also dont really want and Ive never paid more than 50 cents on the dollar Blue Book for any whip from them. He sold me an '03 Accord with 105K miles a while back for like 2 grand. I put it up for sale and wrecked it before I could sell it and never got it fixed. I still doubled my money on that car with the damage and all.

And when they say owners of dealerships that doesnt mean a car lot per se. Can't speak for all states but I know in GA and SC they just require you to take a certification course once and year and have a commercial location where you can put a sign up. My old man keeps the cars he flips in front of his house. He just uses his homeboys mechanics shop as his dealer address.

sounds like a good way to make some money. ima look into whats needed in the ny,nj,pa area. the one i went to was in pa and they were strict. kept asking my pop's friend questions about me n my pops. when i walked in tho shyt was OD packed with cars and very few people. it was literally like 15 lines of cars waiting to be showcased and each line had to be half a mile long. dudes walked out of there with some nice cars.

Yeah you can eat. My Pops homeboy got a small buy here pay here car lot out in Loganville GA and he usually has about 10-15 cars in his inventory at any given time. He keeps shyt those redneck boys fukk with like lifted trucks and muscle cars and he probably moving about 1 or 2 a week. Its not a lot compared to a big dealership but his wife and 2 of his kids work there and Im sure if the wife and kids can eat off something that yall doing together then in my eyes that is a successful business.

Thats also why nikkas should never under any circumstances go to a buy here pay here car lot. Say you walk onto a buy here pay here lot and they got a 05 Infiniti G35 for sale with a downpayment of $3000. More than likely thats what the dealership paid for it from a dealers auction. Which is why they approve anyone, they dont care if you default cuz they've made their money back as soon as you put that downpayment down. Its worse with nikka cars too. Dealers be paying 1-2 racks for those base model Chargers then turning around selling them for 12 racks with a downpayment of 2500 or something like that. shyt is crazy.
