I been binging this shyt, and it's racially intense as fukk. Think about how this show stopped airing in the mid 90s but showed just how damn racist society is. Doubt they'd green light a show this real in 2024 that wasn't on a premium network

Classic show. A few great stars got their start on there, I know Mariska Hargitay (Olivia benson on SVU) was on an episode. I liked how they showed a balance in the villains, they weren’t just going after black folks and they spent a lot of time fighting good ole boy corruption. Gillespie even ended up…. Not going to spoil the show even though it’s 35-40 years old.

If I’m not mistaken portions of the show were filmed in Covington, GA outside of Atlanta
