Did they ever offer you free rooms or give you discounted prices? What else can you share about your experience working there?

Yeah, but in law vegas for corporate so I think its a bit different from working at hotels in other cities, 400 rooms vs 5000 rooms vs 40,000 rooms

Yeah everything was free, I actually can't enjoy steakhouse at this point because I'm burnt out on them. Hotels are also dirty as h ell so it can be difficult to enjoy, but getting to preview the remodeled penthouses for a night was always fun.

Direct customer service is hell, managing people in direct customer service is also hell. Luckily I primarily worked back of the house or did quality assurance and training.

Yes people destroy rooms and every other area of the property. Terrible is realizing I had been talking to a guest who ended up murdering a woman and leaving her body in the hallway. Or when prostitutes would call and just leave the line open with the phone off the hook because they are being beat up and need you to call security and the police. Or when housekeeping gets raped by the guests. Or the constant suicides, the coroner taking bodies out the back way.

Fighting, trashing rooms, peeing on the casino floor, are not really big deals.

When I was 15 I worked in a hotel for a week, cleaning rooms. It wasn't that bad but it was only for a week.

Heard people fuking and the cleaning ladies looked at me like :yeshrug:
