I've been a massive fan of this band since I first heard Bulls on Parade. It was absolutely weird seeing right wing nut jobs trying to hijack their music for their rallies. But none the less Im a massive fan, and honestly Zach really helped guide me towards literature of Che Guevara and Malcolm X. They also put me onto Mumia Abu Jamal as well, as well as a few others.

I can see rage being a gateway for rap fans getting into rock. They had a little bit of an influence from public enemy.

I still see portishead as the ultimate gateway to rock for a 90s rap head

My first concert was the Rock the Bells festival in 2007 where they co-headlined with Wu-Tang. Great band with classic songs, a profound message and a long history of activism.
