I think you're underestimating me but I know there's no way right now I can convince you I might have my lane here. Wordpress is just the start for now.

Don't let the critics in here stop you from doing this. Most people fail online because they expect it to be easy money. There's no reason why you couldn't make serious money if you're willing to put in the work. As for wordpress, it's just a platform so I don't see why people are complaining about it. The fact that a site is driven by wordpress has no effect on the money it generates. Wordpress lets you get a new site up and running fast.

I know it'll take time but I know I can reach people fast as fukk in what I'm making the site about plus my graphic design skills are another big pull.

Here's what you can do. Search for a bunch of commercial keywords in google and look for the advertisements next to the search results. Click on each advertisement. When you see a landing page that looks outdated/low quality, contact them and tell them that you can make it more profitable by redesigning it. The fact that they're already spending money on google advertising makes it much more likely that they'll be willing to spend money with you because they've already proven that they're willing to spend money to make money.

We'll see though, if I waste my time

No need to create "competition" when there are plenty of sites that provide what The Coli has (though Coli is my favorite & the only 1 I use.)

All I really needed to know was about servers/income. Also I could make a better site compared to projectconvo in a day

im gonna be honest here, i cant remember the last time i visited a website because it had nice images. the web is going more and more away from heavy image use also.

if you create a blog to talk about graphic design then thats one thing but you might be better off just doing freelance work rather than thinking that having some nice images is going to make any old website profitable

content is king on the internet now especially with all the google crackdowns. what content can you provide that we cant find elsewhere on the internet?

I understand that graphics isn't going to be the profitable part of the site. Graphics = a part of presentation. Which is indeed a factor to pulling & keeping some individuals since a lot of people aren't going to frequent a site that looks like it didn't make it out of the 90's. That goes a long with plenty of other factors in keeping people around and interested. I'm not making a graphics site though, can you find what I'm about to create? Eh, kinda sorta yea no maybe ... but that can be said for most sites. Just adding my own touch along with a friend or two.

but as I said before, if it fails it fails, just a learning experience & broader knowledge on something I've wanted to do since I was a kid.

If you're talking about a discussion forum like this, creating it is easy and free. Promoting it and finding dedicated members is another story. I tried many times and failed miserably.
