Traveled by Amtrak by myself for two days cross country. Met a lot of cool people in the cities we stopped in and on the train. One of my best memories I'll ever have and would do it in a heartbeat. I'm 22 and did it when I was 21.

I've been to 43 states (in America) and also Mexico and Canada... but the only place I ever went alone was North Carolina, and I was meeting someone there so I wasnt alone for even a day.

Some places in Montana and Utah and Milwalkee... Texas... Virginia... are scary as fukk breh.
You'll be at a gas station and cacs are just staring at you like they want to lynch you.

But... there are places out here in Cali like that too.
I can drive to parts of Lancaster and its basically clansville.

There are places like Boston that are racist, but they aren't the type that are going to kill you... they just hate you. Then there are places in the midsouth and east where you legit feel in danger, out on dirt roads and fields all around and cows and shyt with cacs chewing hay stems squintin at you.
 So be careful.

I'm currently in Jamaica traveling for the first time alone and enjoying it a lot. I'm in a town just outside the tourist area and its mad peaceful. I try to talk as little as possible when doing money transactions though, because tourists can get charged higher prices than locals.

I been to Miami alone once. Was there for 3 days but met up with a friend on one of the days.

The days I was by myself were lonely AF and not very interesting. But Miami isn't the type of place to go by yourself tbh.

Theres plenty of places that are more suitable for lone travelling.

Yeah people travel alone for business all the time. I've traveled alone for fun to places I've never been before and just want to see for a few days. Sometimes I just say fukk it, and take a trip just to get away a little bit. You'll get lonely after a few days though, so don't plan the trip for too long.

Yeah I've done it before. Last time was when I went to the Dominican Republic three years ago. When I was in Florida last month I was with a few people but those were my old colleagues. Sometimes you want the independence.

It's good to get over that fear and do it whenever you can. Just use common sense and you'll be fine.
