If the job was through a temp agency that means you probably won't get it. If it was straight on with a company I don't know
One thing about it, you can't bullshyt your way through an excel testIf the job was through a temp agency that means you probably won't get it. If it was straight on with a company I don't know
You can learn the basics pretty quickly with online tutorials like the poster above me said. But the advanced levels you won't learn in just a few days
I use excell everyday at work and I use it too keep track of my bills at home. The best way to understand excel is to play around with it; learn the basic things, then move to understanding formulas, functions, graphs, tables, how to change formuals and have real time results reflect into the graph and ect.
What did you have to do for that test?
Check this website out Formulas and Functions in Excel
First they gave a already completed table and told me enter in the data on a new table.
After that I had to edit the table via merging cells creating header and changing the fonts and then they gave me some formulas but that is when i got lost. I only had like 15 mins
The lady at the Temp office looked at me like
That was the day I learned to never lie about Excel experience.![]()
Back in the day I lied to a temp agency and told them I was an expert level Excel user. They had me take a test and a I didn't have a clue of what the fukk I was doingThe lady at the Temp office looked at me like

Not many can learn computer shyt as fast as I can.
Thing is I was not lying lol I used excel for lab reports in college but not to the level that they had in store for me .
Did they ask what level you were? From my experience most places will ask if you were beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Or they might ask if you can do specific functions like build pivot tables
