what do you look for in a good writer?

- is it articulation?
- the poetics?
- the images that the words conjure up?

could you make the clear distinction between good stories and good writing to poor stories and poor writing ? what are the key differences?

I have a jolt of inspiration and thinking of turning some of these scripts into all out novels since publishing would be easier to get than try to sell a script.

you were onto something if an ebook is easy to write and then probably illustrations accompanied then this is big money.

I wrote one some time ago dealing with healthcare. It wasn't anything special and the sales (or lack of) prove it.
I also contributed some poems to a black poetry compilation book. I was proud of those ones but some of my friends found out and made fun of me for it and called me "Poet" for a decent while. Kept quoting Shakespeare at me whenever I rolled up too.
