I went skiing in Mont Tremblanc, Quebec for the first time last month ... I found that I'm much better without the poles (ll). I fell down a lot and I could count the other black people there on one hand, but I think it's something I would do again. Just not right away.

Go ahead and tell me that's some CAC shyt :rudy:

I been once....My feet were frozen,i couldnt stop at all,i had to fall down to stop...I kept dropping my poles from the chair lift, which was the opposite for me i couldnt stay on my feet without poles...

I also kept crossing my skiis when turning which im sure you know is a sure fire way to take a faceplant...i honestly hated it never tried again...

Goin down hill with no goggles wasnt much fun either...

Tryna hit Mont Tremblant next season. Went to Blue Mountain near TDot around 6-7 times this winter. Jetting down a slope at 50 km/h after blazing an L to the face is one of GOAT feelings :wow:

That's how I was in the beginning ... I still haven't mastered stopping and probably won't for a while, but basically the only way I knew how to stop was to just take a dive, which actually became fun after a while :lolhov:

Tremblant is really nice. I was surprised that despite being in the 20s, I didn't feel that cold. It was actually colder down at the bottom of the mountain than the top. :manny:

When ur not prepared because youve never done it and dont have anyone in ur circle who can give you tips it makes it unenjoyable...I remember rocking a hoody under a leather coat, only pair of socks no long johns,no goggles...I didnt know how to dress for it which made it a bad experience....I also remember losing my boots alot when i fell...I had those big crashes where ur skiis and boots both came off and you got to fetch them going downhill on ur knees smh...

I been a few times, even bought my own skis off craigslist. Its pretty fun if you can find people who want to ski...which is hard for a black person. We need to expand our horizons.
