What was it truthfully like?

I'm not talking about claiming blood or crip cause ya friend was also and your rocked a flag. I mean really knowing the slang, history, being apart or connected to members who really put in work and not just talking.

Did it feel like a real family? Was it brotherly? Did you really feel animosity for your rivals or opps or did you just feel that way cause everybody said you had to? How did you even keep up with who was in ya set, whose ya enemy sets, and what sets you was cool with? It all seems hella complicated.

I'm not a square but I never been apart of the life, and genuinely curious for perspective from anybody that was legitimately a part of the lifestyle.

I mean we talking about career life time gang members rocking a flag or sharing the same crew name or put in some work for a few years for the homies or hood? That will determine the answer :russ:

We claim neighborhoods where I'm from and shyt was crazy as hell. A lot of the shyt you hear about no women, no kids from rappers and old-timers is bullshyt. Most people like the idea of being in the streets than being street. A lot of older women are perverts too.
