how does this happen at such a young age. it's surprising to me as hell to me, i don't see how their minds get poisoned at such a young age.
the saddest one is where the girl picks the white doll, then says the black doll is the bad doll. then they ask her which one she looks like, and she picks up the "bad doll"
I really dont feel like type all the reason why but im just gonna say its the effects of slavery and racism. Look the commercials for these toys and u will see that black dolls arent shown that much. The media and the parents are to blame if u ask me. Back in the day they didnt make black dolls.
When you think about it though, what real positivity do black folk in white dominated countries really see of themselves? Even the good gets drowned out by some BS. Doesn't help that whenever black folk get access to media they use it to promote foolishness 70% of the time. Our history is ignored or down-played. This stuff starts early.
