Trust me it ain’t worth it. You’ll get a worse experience, in a much smaller park, with insane crowds.
Nothing in the surrounding area is good either in terms of food. It is all average, mediocre, and overpriced. Again, it’s mainly CACS, Asians, and Mexicans.
But I know you won’t listen and probably already booked your tickets. I’d recommend you just stay at Disney and go. No need to check out anything out here, there’s nothing to see.
I rented a whip so I'll drive to other spots.
Not my first time out there either. Used to go out to the IE for my job many times over the years when I travelled. But never stayed in the OC.

They won't trip ya boy up. Never really hit up Coastal LA County. Been to Manhattan Beach a couple of times. Might drive out to Malibu, Venice Beach.

Redondo is aight for seafood. I prefer going to San Pedro fish market not to far from OC up the coast.
Roscoes by Disney is aight. Honestly the OG one isnt even that great it all tastes the same to me. Difference is you got alot of cacs and the wait can be long during dinner. Joes italian Ice is good for dessert down the block from there.
Idk if you fukk with asian food but i fukk heavy with coco ichibanya for japanese curry down by irvine area.
The Ranch is also pretty good for a steakhouse.

If you are gonna be with your family, then of course you could go to Disneyland/California Adventure and Knott's Berry Farm. You could hit up all the local beaches.
But, consider going to Dan Diego or driving to LA to do some activities. You could drive to Temecula and hit up the wineries/restaurants, if that is your thing?
Perhaps post up what your interests are so people can provide suggestions for ya..

Make sure to check out the park on Rosecrans and Bullis very nice park and legendary tennis courts should def check it out make sure you wearing a mariners hat locals love that team
May as well hit up Santa Ana Main Street and get some overpriced food. After that roll on over to the Anaheim Packing District for some overpriced drinks. Then once you've gotten the full Disneyland metro experience drive on over to Mission Viejo and Laguna for the ocean drive shops and restaurants. After that you can drive back to LA in peace knowing you've seen that the grass isn't greener.

My dumbass forgot the All Star Break was this weekend so I can't even catch a fukkin game.
They just moved the one on pico around the corner which was my favorite one but I think the original is in Hollywood

- The Spectrum in Irvine
- Laguna, Newport or Huntington Beach
- South Coast Plaza
- Anaheim Packing District
. We do have some fancy restaurants that you may want to try if this is your thing.
