I feel ya but my circumstance is a bit different. I didn't fit my "former" family's mode of thinking/ lifestyle (i.e. limited education, limited job prospects, conspicuous spending but always screaming broke, swindlers/ scam artists, cheaters, etc.) so they deemed me the "fukk up."

Bushed myself. No intention to speak to them ever. It's for the best.

Find people who appreciate and acknowledge your positive qualities and spend that time with them because they are the ones who deserve it.

I have shytty family members and removing myself from their influence did wonders for my self esteem and overall outlook on life.

I used to feel like the fukk up and now I see myself as a stand up dude who lives by his own terms and of course there are gonna be people who dislike/don’t understand that.

I used to be the screw up, well me and my brother were. It was especially shameful and embarrassing for my dad when I became a single mother. The solution? Stop screwing up and start accomplishing shyt that makes you proud and reflects positively on the fam. I did that many times over since having my son and now my dad can’t be prouder.
