Any X-Ray techs in here???

i know this forum is mostly IT brehs but i was looking into a radiology program but i dont know too many people in the profession and wanted to know the pros cons experiences etc with the job. Will the technology even last or should i look into ultrasound tech instead? I'm in NY and starting is 60-70k
