God has blessed me enough that I was able to buy a 2nd home 
A beach condo in a pretty good location in Florida. My wife and I were talking about renting it out and so we got on Airbnb & Vrbo and created the listings.
I synced them both on a vacation rental management software platform called YourPorter and automated all of the messaging between renters. Even set it up to where the lock code on the electronic keylock at the house changes automatically based on who books.
We stayed a week there last week to live in it ourselves to get a feel of what we should include when communicating the benefits to people which was a great idea and also used that time to get it set up.
Anybody else renting out properties short term with any advice for a novice?
I'm excited to see what kind of income I can generate with it and having that home as an option anytime I want to get away.
Having 2 mortgages is a scary sight tho
