There is nothing interesting about that squad. With most teams u have 1 or 2 reasons to tune in, there is zero for Hawks. With that being said, the series between them and Wizards has been pretty good

The Hawks are what the Sixers tried to avoid by their crazy ass tanking process. A team that is always in the playoffs but never a contender. Even when they had that 60 win season two years ago, nobody saw them as a threat. Sure enough, the Cavs swept them easy

And? Who gives a shyt about making the playoffs if you don't win anything? You end up with a squad of mediocrity, a fanbase that supports mediocrity, and end up nowhere closer to sniffing a trophy. After the OG core that peaked around that 60 win season failed, they half assed the blowing it up process. Not trading Trillsap shows how scared the front office is of the fanbase potentially rejecting the franchise en masse.

Edit: paying Howard anything over a little above the vet min was also not good
