Anybody else get robbed by Jiffy Lube, paying $50 for oil changes

I used to be a fool. Paying for high oil because my car is old. The reason I started was the Jiffy Lube I used to trust ran "out" of regular oil. Then I started to get into the habit of paying that high oil. Well, I found out the Jiffy Lube place I went to stated to act shady. Cllaiming that their credit card machines wasn't working. So I had to pay cash. Two weeks later they did the same thing to my moms. So I was done with them. I went to the dealership to get an oil change and asked if I needed the high oil. He hit me with the Been a fool for a couple of years. Now, I only pa $16 for oil changes.

Some of these mechanics are some of the most shiesty a$$holes to ever walk the earth, I swear.

Good on you for finding a better deal...but think about learning how to do it yourself in the future.

You do know mechanics get oil at inexpensive rates, so even if they charge 15-20 dollars they still are profiting. My dude charges 15.99 for regular oil, and 23.99 for synthetic.

It's all about finding the right mechanic who does it for the love, instead of them bytches that chooses to run rackets, charging 40-50 dollars for 5 minutes of their time.
