Anybody else getting popup virus ads on the coli?

Evrrtrime I browse this site I get ads saying I have a virus on my phone that take over the page and I have to press the back button to escape.

Yeah, I had the same problem on chrome mobile since chrome extensions (like adblock) don't work on chrome mobile.


I finally gave in and downloaded the Brave browser and had no ads/virus redirects on The Coli using the Brave browser.

I get that once in a blue moon. Same with where the page stops loading. But by blue moon im talking like i can literally count on one hand how many times it happens a year.

The site keeps reloading the page on its own. It deletes my comments when it reloads & I either have to type it over or just don’t reply depending on how long my comment is.

You won't get those pop-ups with Brave. It's actually a really decent browser, way better than Chrome.
