Anybody else hate songs rappers make inspired by their stage names?

The hooks are always the worst part,almost unbearable.
I hate practically all of them,They all sound like cheesy songs that would play during the opening credits of soon to be canceled sitcoms




The theme song of drug dealer genius,forced to team up with a detective to solve local crimes on some Sherlock Holmes shyt to avoid prison



A straight to Popcorn Flix original,about a street kid who time travels to stop present day murders from occuring. I will say I'm glad most of the modern day rappers don't seem to make these anymore.

I don't remember 18th Letter fitting the criteria,I will have to go back and listen. I agree with Still D.r.e being an undeniable classic and I'm on the fence with "Killa Cam". I also like Method man and Thuggish Rugish Bone.

Have not aged well at all,You can't let the performance get in the way of the premise,hook and beats on alot of these records. Even with Killa Cam,the Killa Cam chant in the back ground would disqualify it if it was more prominent,but luckily its drowned out by the beat.matter of fact Dipset may have been some of the worst offenders
