Anybody else not really like the current crop of ring announcers?

I mean, nothing against the women, they're all nice to look at...especially Jojo.....but their forced gutteral voices are somewhat grating. It's like they're all told to try & be Lillian Garcia clones.

I never liked Tony Chimmel too much either, but Justin Roberts was pretty good other than his "Geeeeyaawwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnn Cena"

But I wish they'd look for someone with a "big match feel" booming voice in the mold of the Fink.

well JR is unique, and you're not gonna find another him regardless. While they should have kept him on at least one of the shows, I can understand why they'd want to build for the future.

I just dont understand why they're trying out all these female ring announcers and they all sound the same.

I don't understand why they made him into a joke.

It's like they took backstage quirks or minor grievances ppl had with him and then they turned it into an on-screen thing, and it killed his ability to be taken seriously.

UFC recognizes what Bruce Buffer brings to their product and they will likely NEVER take him off duty until he decides to quit or he's ineffective. Fink should've gotten the same respect. Sure you can hire other people, but Fink should be doing the Big 4 ppvs, or at very least the title match announcements on the Big 4 ppvs
