As a goalie, it's a pretty easy save.
For all you non-goalies, I'll break it down.
Why is it easy? He's scored with it before.
Breakaways are difficult. Chances of scoring are higher since there is no defenseman on his tail. The shooter has more options.
Because this guy chose to control the puck with the tip of the stick, he can only score with the puck on the ice. As a goalie, you don't have to worry about whether he is going to go low or high. It's always going to be low. With that, all the goalie had to really do was do a split and the whole bottom 6 feet of the goal would have been blocked.

He almost scored though.

Didn't even seem like the goalie went butterfly until the last second.

Was just about to post this.

It's a beautiful move but it's easy to save. The puck is on the skaters stick the whole time and the goaltender won't take his eyes off the puck/stick and it's just a matter of timing the skaters attempt to put the puck in the net and stopping it. Daugavins would have been better off coming to a full stop on the spin and flipping the puck with a backhand over the Rask's pad. That would have given him a better chance to score

Sweet move though
