Anybody else think how we may never get artists that come close to those from the 80s and 90s?

Nowadays its about vibes and image, talent isn't even a prerequisite.

Imagine if Stevie Wonder, a musical genius, was born in this generation. You think music execs would even look in his direction:heh:

They'd rather push some shyt like this cause it sounds good in the studio plus its a pretty boy ass nikka and it slides good on the radio/club.

The image is basically looking like a manikin standing on the wall with a drink in hand and hookah in the other. :francis:

I don't think we will because music doesn't mean as much as it did back then.

Kinda like movies. I don't think we're going to have an A-list superstar actor anymore eitner.

AI will replace mediocre artists they are in the same lane. Then real artists will rise again and there will be a resurgence in appreciation for mucisianship. First the industry will.be decimated

Can have A list in movies or music because the budgets for development and marketing can't be the same. The return isn't the same. It's all revenue based industry. The machine that makes stars is no longer invested. They can pluck people from the internet who already have a lil fame and following. They don't want to invest in development and they don't have to. Talent suffers...

Who's gonna foot the bill for a whole orchestra, choir section, horns, strings and background singers these days to flush a vision out. As much as you can do with virtual instruments we are missing greatness that can't be fully replicated.
