Would it be worth it? And what would make it worthwhile?

lol I sometimes think I'd like to be vaguely involved (there's a lot more things to be doing in politics than just being a candidate)

but it's very hard/boring work and a rough deal sometimes

but I think if you're part of a group that's doing good things then it can be easier

I had this one nikka (he was actually white) in my classes in high school who wouldnt answer questions in class to protect his "future politcal career ". That would really be his answer to questions in AP Govt or English when we discussed political type things. Oddly enough I heard he's not interested in Politics anymore go figure

I ran for city council once, but I'm not about that life though, you have to be a grimy mofo to do small town politics. I'd rather make change in my communities from outside the political fold.

right this is my feeling too... I can argue about green energy with some dudes for 15 years and try to get uninterested people mobilized or I can just join a green energy company and get it done

I was 2nd place in my district but I lost to the incumbent, it was by a considerable margin, but it was a good experience.

I've thought about it from time to time...I'd probably want to run for congress or a Senate seat, I'd just have to make sure im 100% committed before I really tried to do it

my wife's family really want her to be a politician, but there's just too much dirt on me. there's a recorded video of me in iraq in uniform saying fukk george bush jr and his pointless war. theres also a newspaper article with my grandmother saying she doesn't trust white people. with that kind of dirt on me my wife wouldn't even make it past the vetting stage.
