Word, a mix of sleep apnea and not being able to wake up to it from the codeine.
Basically when you sleep certain peoples muscles near the end of their throat relax too much and obstruct their air way, there's a few different forms but that's the most prevalent as far as I know.
I know a few people that passed from that

Ive had sleep paralysis 3 times! First time scary as fukk, didn't know what happened to me and didn't mention it to anyone until I found out a few years late what it was
Yeah, I've had it several times. It lasted about 5 minutes and you actually can't move, it's like you're screaming to get free - but can't. shyt is real and scary.
Imagine being paralyzed like that for your whole life
