Taking a math course need some help I honestly hate having to ask this but I have no one else to turn to so I'm hoping someone on here can help a brother out. :sadcam:

basically some of these to give you an idea I suppose
- Polya's four-step problem solving method
- explore sets and use Venn's diagrams to discover properties of set operations
- use this knowledge to model operations with numbers and analyze properties of different number systems.

I honestly didn't want to post pics cause I'm slight embarrassed I don't know this shyt. The course is apparently so easy that my uni doesn't provide tutoring or any type of study sessions for it.

The first part is simple you just take the number on the left and follow the instructions add 7 to the 3 than multiply followed by subtracting by 2 and divide by 2 and subtract the original selected number which is 3 ending in the result of 6.

You do this same process for the other numbers as well resulting in 6 as well it's When I get to Question A that I'm confused on how it's 6 I know you get 6 for each number but I can't understand why it's 6 because the previous questions like this have been done differently. B is different that I can understand you take n and follow the procedures add 7 to n gets you n+7 you then double the result n which could be seen as 1n becomes 2n and 7 becomes 14 . ..etc it's just The A question that throws me off.. ..

Okay off to drunk sleepy place I go night

This looks like Liberal Arts Math (math for non-science majors).

This stuff is fun, but you gotta focus on the technique and work out the example problems first.

Also if you double n + 7, its (n + 7)(n + 7) not 2n + 14 which is multiplying it by 2 which is not the same thing.
