Do I need to get this surgery? :lupe:

When I lay down at night, the nasal passage of the side I’m laying on automatically stops up and I’m basically left breathing out of one nostril. Roll over to my other side then it clears up, but then the side that I rolled to gets stopped up. Happens in seconds too :lupe:

Not being funny, but what happens when you sleep on your back?

Thanks mayne.
I'm 8 days in.
Got some bloody mucus, food is a bit bitter and sleeping on my back is annoying, but everything is way better day by day.

Good to hear you are getting better. My 1st week I tried using one of them wedges with pillows, couldn't get comfortable, hopped in the movie theater recliners, was out like a light. Yeah food and smell will come and go as your nose heals up. Stay up with the nasal rinse and you should be good.

I would go talk to an ENT about it and see if they recommend it. I was suffering from sinus issues for YEARS before, constantly had sinus infections almost every season. Doc kept giving me nasal sprays, wasn't helping. ENT took a look up my nose and told me surgery would take care of 99% of your issues. Been 10 months and I feel great.

One month seems excessive, at most my ENT said 2 weeks should be more than enough time. As far as recovery, it will take a time, I was feeling better after month 2 going into 3.
