I’m seriously thinking on going to school for this

I’ve been giving massages all my life, I’m good at it, I’m into holistic medicines juicing shyt, and I love to rub on bytches

So why not get paid for what I do for free anyway? Besides, I got a nikka on X who does erotic massages on hoes, give em happy endings with vibrators n shyt…that wouldn’t even be work to me

So if you’re in the field, what steps did you take to become licensed, and is it worth it financially?

I’m not a therapist, but my friend is and she makes a good living working for herself. Like any business, if you can gain a client base that’s consistent then you can make a living off of it.

You may have to work in some spas and massage Studios, but most therapist from what I understand have their own clients as well as working for other businesses and spas.

You also need to try to get into an insurance network or an FHA network to provide your services especially FHA. She recently just locked down almost an entire fire house for weekly or biweekly massages and she only does a minimum of 90 minutes.

Make an online calendar for your clients to be able to access to make things easier for yourself and don’t be afraid to tell people that they need to pre-pay for a service because a lot of people will reschedule and start to call off after you’ve already set aside that time and then it’s just lost income because you can’t reschedule someone else on such short notice. If you see that happening, then they need to start prepaying.

Also invest in massage tables. Get as many of them as you can, they have them on Facebook marketplace for sale all the time sometimes just for 50 bucks. Doesn’t even have to be a super nice table and don’t be afraid to leave your tables at clients houses that are your regular so you don’t have to carry them around and you can just show up. They will feel more obligated to continue working with you when they know that you have a table at their house already.
