Anybody Here Had Lasek Surgery?

It is an awesome procedure. They have financing that allows you to pay it off in 18 months without accruing interest.

Wifey got it about 20 years ago.

After 4 babies, she’s blind as a bat now and looking to get it again.

Having babies takes away greatly from the mother's eyesight.

With her having four babies, she went from 20/20 vision after the surgery, to the point she's at now, which is damn near legally blind without her glasses.

And she had the surgery done by the same doctor that performed the procedure for the Redskins at that time, so take from that what you will....

I don't know how that works with men that have the surgery though.

9 years later, still good, one thing I forgot to mention in my other post was that they let you know that while this does correct your current vision problem, your vision still deteriorates at its normal natural rate

I still contend, best thing I ever did.

ya that’s the main thing I’m concerned about but @ least hers lasted 20 years...I had a coworker who got it and was back wearing glasses just 3 years later...in his case it absolutely seems like it’s wasn’t worth it

Nah, she’s been back wearing glasses for about 10 years now.

So it lasted like 10 years.

Got it done 2 years ago - my only regret was not getting it done 8 years ago.

Got it done about 7 years ago. Definitely best thing I've ever done. Literally felt like going from Steve Urkel to Stefan.

I was leaning towards this but my optometrist told me about some new contacts you put in that corrects your vision as you wear them until you don’t need to wear them eventually.
