I miss Columbus, Ohio brehs

Right now, I'm in Decatur, Illinois, and I'm pissed off half the time.

I be damned if I spend the rest of my life here

I left the DMV at 18 after graduating HS and been in Raleigh-Durham since '99. I like where I'm at now better than being back in DC. It doesn't have all the amenities as DC, but I guess I'm content for the time being. I don't really have any plans to move but I'm not sure if I wanna play the rest of my life out here though.

All great cities. L.A. is my favorite though.

Left Brooklyn in 2005 to come here to Raleigh... I love my city, but I knew once I had kids I probably would have to move. For one thing, I hate snow. I'm sure I used to have seasonal depression with winter, seeing that nasty, dirty, black snow/ice that never seemed to melt. But I do miss the energy of the hood, going to Delancey Street and negotiating for leather jackets, and mainly, my hood food spots like White Castle, Crown Chicken, the local Chinese fried fish spot. I don't see myself living there again, but I definitely visit as much as I can to show love.

I aint got a mortgage, but I got a wife who aint leavin this hell hole. Both our parents still live here, but I can always come home weekends to visit if need be.
