I sell things online, so 1-3 times a week I schedule a pickup at my house.
Its normally between 5-15 large boxes (think home depot moving boxes).

You should see the look on some of these nikkas face when they pull up in front of my place...they always looking like this :bryan:

Whats the big deal? isnt it all dropping boxes off and picking boxes up?

What the fukk does this have to do with working at UPS. If a lazy nikka come to pick up ya trash, he gonna act the same way. If u ask a lazy mailman to take a piece of mail, he gonna act the same.

cuz I dont see the difference in picking my boxes up, and what they do all damn day. Its the same shyt.

Dont you have to start at the docks when youre a driver? Thats the real hard work.

my mail lady is lazy too though...she never drops my packages off...I always gotta go to the main center to pick them up...fukk that bytch, I miss my old mailman.

There is no difference. If a nikka don't want to do his job, he don't want to do his job.

Hard work is anything you don't want to do.

Andif they have to do pickups, a place can have 200-300 boxes to load or more into that little cramped up truck and you on a schedule. It's hectic.

@jilla82 its mostly becuz they on a schedule. i worked for Fedex a couple months ago and i quit that shyt in under 1 month. they want you to have a certain amount of stops per hour and most times its not the same route. everyday its different stops so there's alot of stress in just FINDING your stops. for home deliveries if your spending more than 2mins at a stop then you are wasting time. so when a nikka gets to your spot and have to pickup 15 large boxes then yea, he's gonna be like :beli: cuz he coulda been knocked out 3-4 other stops in the same time it took picking up your shyt

this is exactly what I wanted to know. I knew there was something to it.

Are there different delivery men for retail/warehouse spaces?

yea the guys that deliver to homes are Home Delivery. they drive the big vans or the trucks with the door missing. the guys that deliver to warehouses are Ground. they drive the bigger trucks. they have to pickup at specific times in the day. if they arrive late to pickup then thats money lost. i did both.
