Open an account online, keep up with current events (especially in emerging markets), keep up with youth trends, certain commodities will never fail (gold, tobacco, natural gas) and are a good long term bet, also when a country decides to use QE buy stock in those exchanges immediately.

True, but the capitol requires some years to accumulate, unless you get over. I can walk up and down any strip near my neighborhood and see retail space for cheap. Residential as well, but "Cheap" for residential is still years off as far as affordability.

Real Estate is the way to go. So many niches. The market isn't so fickle. You can build leverage, create cash flows etc....


You just have to learn how to play the game.

The thing is a lot of people don't know how to play the real estate game. A lot of people don't even know how to read the market, don't have a niche, etc.........

Thats why the pareto principle is so strong in that industry.
