Tried googling got a lot of ad's and while their is information it's surprisingly vague. a lot of places provide training but little info actually exist about how much training is needed to start a career in the first place. I've seen 8 month certifications up to Junior Colleges and Four year schools degrees being claimed as necessary. Anyone actually in this field? Know any info on what schools are legit and which programs are complete bullshyt? Any info would be dope.

Non destructive testing for what? Electrical cables? Hi-pot testing is a nice job

I'm looking into the American Institute Of Non Destructive Testing. They want 2gs up front ant the program is 11k total. Does anyone know if its a good program.

Breh. Do me a fav and Google it. Promise u at the very least it sounds legit. Got a center u do 18 days hands on in Minnesota and everything.
Im a welder/fabrictor.. I work with ndt techs on a semi-regular basis. These guys got cake jobs. Last guy came to the shop and ran a ultrasonic test. All he did was run a machine over welds to make sure they were good.

This was some old fart too. He stood around half the day waiting for us.

I chopped it up with him a lil bit, he travels from site to site running a ultrasonic. He spends a decent amount of time on the road. He gets to work with some interesting projects too. Idk what his pay was like, but im sure its decent.

Eventually might be something i get in to.. I was planning on eventually getting a Certified Weld Inspecter cert. (Harder and more expensive than this) i could see myself doing something like this when i get older, as welding is hard on your body.

Idk about this paticular school tho.
