Rhymes are all poetry formats
There's near rhyming. Where words sound alike but don't share exact structure.
Example: flying, flinging. Trying, sufficing.
Internal rhyme. When two or more words are internal into the bar but may not reflect the end rhyme.
Example: the rain of reign pains the veins range to hang out. We flame out.
PENDAS rhyming. Using word acronyms to cleverly run sentences behind them.
Example: (Star) Sick vengeance, Top fitted, Action gifted, Racks spending
(The rhyme spells out star.)
Zig zag rhyming. This is more for creative types. Not usually found in rap too often.
Example: she the girl with curls, perils the world's Earth, hurl and get purged.
Letter constinant induced rhyming
Example: shyt Shifts Still Stiffled Sniffles Sizzles Soon Simple. Talk Thots Thoughted Throughout Taps Topped Temples.
Word play extended metaphors:
