Either get the Ghost. Or the Adrenaline if you want more cushioning.

I know a few people with them, i've been told they are better suited for casual activity than as full on running shoes.

I understand that, but running takes a toll on the feet, and if you have a well fitting pair of shoes it certainly helps. I wear the Gel-Kayano 29's...they'll run you about 160 bucks

What distance you trying to run? Honestly, go hit r/running and get some suggestions. The options for people looking to do short 5 mile or less runs gonna be different than someone who does 10+ miles.

My Nike free RN was perfect for someone like me who was gonna run 2-3 miles, but those wouldn’t be my choice for 5+ miles, that’s where I’d cop some asics
