I work from home but I ain't tryna have the real a/c running all damn day everyday. Those are peak hours for my energy plan anyway but there's no ceiling fan downstairs :why: its getting toasty in this bytch :whew:

I think I want a mini a/c rather than a fan tho. Arctic Air seems to be the most known but some of these models wabt you to add ice cubes and shyt :hhh: This model looks legit but I want something bigger for the space

Breh just get a window unit.

I lived in an old apartment with no a/c for a few weeks and that's probably the best way to cool a small room

You can't get a small window unit and shades for the room you in? Keep the door closed and it should stay relatively cool most of day without running the AC for so long.

I just checked and there's no outlets near the door :snoop: I got blinds tho and some privacy film on the patio that helps a bit-- but I'm thinking ahead for July/AUGUST and shyt. It's "toasty" right now, but thats just me adjusting to the season changing. Late summer its finna be HELL

If OP idea is to save money then I don't think window A/C is the answer :heh:

In NYC I heard of people complaining about their Con Ed bill in the summer. Keep in mind the vast majority of NYC housing is old AF and was built before central air was the standard for new housing. So most people have window units.

Wound up copping the Vornado 633 for FREE of my company rewards and got it today :jawalrus: This bytch bigger than I expected. Turned it on a few feet behind my workstation, with the fan directly at the ceiling, and could feel the difference instantly :whoo:
