Anybody read black science-fiction books?

Put me up on game. I’m interested in those great literary works by black authors who pioneered the sci-fi genre. Also interesting in newer works.

Mainly looking for the cream of the crop in terms of books to read.

Most lists you'll find will always refer to Octavia Butler and Samuel Delany. I've read a few by Delany, but only 2 by Butler.

NK Jemisin has the Hundred Thousand Kingdoms (Inheritance Saga), and others. Nnedi Okorafor & Tomi Adeyemi complete the 3 main ones buzzing right now, but all of them are moreso Fantasy over Sci-Fi.

The Prey of Gods by Nicky Drayden is my next read. But check out the Book thread
