Not really. The novelty is not there. It worked in 2002 because it was something new and the roster was stacked with former WCW and ECW talent. The excitement of who could end up on what show was cool until maybe the second or third year until people realized Raw was always going to be the priority no matter what.

It will create some buzz for the first few weeks and ratings will increase and subscriptions to the network will probably increase for awhile before the buzz dies down. Plus wrestling is not as popular now as it was during the original brand split.

If this wasn't WWE I would be excited, but being that this is WWE; I am 99% sure they're gonna fukk it all the way up.

They probably will just put Reigns and Cena one on each show and keep jobbing people out to them

At the very least, with the NXT writer on Smackdown... there's a chance Smackdown will be interesting?

I don't think they will do anything drastically different with either show. They should put cruisers on Smackdown and give them a belt. Women's belt and matches on Raw only.

Plus this is going to cause them to prematurely break up teams and factions for the shock factor even though it is going to hurt the talent. You know New Day or Enzo/Cass will get drafted to different shows with no plan to get them over as singles wrestlers.

I am to a degree. Its just tough to have so many people fighting for the same belt. It gives other guys a shot. Of course you can post pics of Ziggler, Swagger, etc. but sometimes you gotta take a chance

I'd want them to share PPV's though. No time for split PPVs too. I'd rather see them both competing each show for the top brand.
