This is back when Sprite was really marketing itself as the soft drink for nikkas

To be honest they still do what with having Drake and Bron as their main spokespeople.

Their head marketing exec from this time must've been from NY cuz they had some other commercials with KRS-One, MC Shan, and Nas and AZ

Sprite and Nike stayed marketing to the "Culture"

I 'member they had an article in The Source about dude who did these commercials for Sprite.
I forget his name...this was prolly about '99 or so.

Shout out to the Hi-Five and Heavy D Sprite commercials also.
