The reason it's not longer is because it was based off of Hudlin's first initial BP run called "Who Is The Black Panther?" And originally was supposed to air on BET. It didn't premier on BET however and a second season was never made.
Of you want to continue that run you can read and Finish Hudlin's work, it would make a great primer for the Blacl Panther movie coming out in 2018 and if you want to read what many consider to be the definitive BP run then read Christopher Priest's complied run which is available now.

Way back. I think it came out in 08. I have it on an old HD, i think it was 6 episodes. It was based on Reginald Hudlin's run on the comic, and I think the artwork(that the cartoon is imitating) is John Romita Jr.

Pretty cool that the cartoon is catching on again. Perhaps as the demand for it grows, Marvel might have a season two of the cartoon.
