Anybody got a condition called night terrors and sleep paralysis?

Last weekend the whole 9/11 thing caught my interest because of threads on here. So I binged watch every documentary, researched everything about it, saw pics and videos of dead bodies, read about people trying to escape, read about ghosts and spirits roaming around where the towers were.

Anyways, when it was time to go to sleep I couldn’t. My thoughts were a mile a minute on this stuff. Every time I closed my eyes I imagined the pain and terror they went through, the screams, people jumping. I started to get sleep paralysis when I finally fell as sleep and those same thoughts would vividly appear in my dreams and I couldn’t wake up.

shyt like this happens to anybody here?

That demon got in you now. An exorcism may be required. :francis:

Sleep paralysis is actually a blessing. It was crazy when I learned that sleep paralysis was associated with terror and demons and shyt because I’ve used to have it since a kid, and the only thing it felt was weird, but not bad. I remember asking my mom could I get paralyzed cause I he stuck when I wake up and she was like :usure: I don’t even know if she understood what I was talking about but ever since then I didn’t feel anyway about it. It just happened every day I woke up, I would get stuck for a second, then be able to get up. shyt was just normal.

So fast forward till when I got older, and I don’t think I would have it as often. But one time I started having it and along with some electrical buzzing in my ears and I was like wtf is that shyt. But yeah t kept happening every night for a few weeks. So I kind of got used to it and just “went with it” and started to have out of body experiences. Well, not yet because that shyt was scary, I just knew I could get out but it took a while to fully go with it.

But it was happening every night around between 4-5 and the sleep paralysis would kick in, and that would be my que to try and lift out. Because scientifically, sleep paralysis when your mind awake but your body sleep. So on some metaphysical shyt, magical shyt can happen in that state. But my point is, sleep paralysis is a blessing. You probably can have out of body experiences and shyt. Don’t be sacred. Should experience it if you can

I enjoy watching That Chapter and murder mysteries but I had to stop watching them at night before bed bc I would wake up feeling uneasy. These stories aren’t scary or anything but I noticed that I would feel “off” whenever I woke up. Hard to explain in words to be honest

Sleep paralysis is horrible, especially if you having dream and want to wake up. I start hallucinating and seeing all kinds of weird shyt.

i don’t know why I get that. I’m starting to pray before I fall as sleep now.

I still get sleep paralysis as a adult.
I had it very bad growing up, used to be scared to goto sleep. Caught it a few times with my head stuck in the pillow unable to breath and would he panicking thinking I was gonna suffocate on my pillow.

I've never caught the hallucinations but would get auditory hallucinations.

For example in sleep paralysis I would hear the the door bell ringing constantly. Like someone is panicking ringing the door bell over and over. shyt terrifying

I have consistently over the years jump out my sleep and run and open the door while half asleep for no one to be there. I don't smoke weed for this same reason. I hear things when I smoke. I believe its a under lying mental issue but that's another story.

Only one time it was extreme, I felt my body get jerked all over my room and as if I fell below my bed.

shyt spooked me , told my moms and she said I'm suffering from the the hag/witch riding me.

As I research it I ran into a community of people with sleep paralysis who claim its the the first stage of outer body experiences(OOBE). I tried to induce my sleep paralysis to try to have a OOBE but it never worked plus it scared me to even start playing in that world.

Above the fray.
At night I can't sleep, I toss and turn
Candle sticks in the dark, visions of bodies being burned

Yeah that’s why I said in my post that it was crazy when I found out most people associated with something bad or scary, so I understand me being comfortable with it is not the norm.

But yet and still, I still suggest people embrace it because it is the gateway to out of body experiences. But you have to get over any fear associated with it. And that shyt can still be scary as far as fear of the unknown, but as far as getting in tune with yourself on a spiritual level and shyt, and in a very natural way, you shouldn’t skip those experiences.

But once I stated having them, I would look up stuff about it and saw people talking about seeing demonic shyt and needing spirit guides and all this weird shyt, and I stopped reading it. Cause I never experienced no negative type shyt or bad energy myself. So I realized everyone experiences different and maybe everyone shouldn’t do it. But it’s like a whole different reality you can tap into, so why not? People do psychedelics to try and achieve these type experiences and you have the ability to do it naturally. That’s a gift to me

Are happy people terrified when they go to sleep at night, nope. Sleeping like a baby

First off all, that’s exactly what the bells are. They are a signal that you can lift out. Mine was electricity...yes electricity nikka lol. Buzzing between my ears. After I had my experiences I started looking shyt up and found something saying that their are auditory signals that people have that are precursors to having OBEs. Some hear bells, some hear waves, some get the electricity like me.

Now this shyt was intense as fukk in the beginning. Like it literally was hurting my ears, but once I started “going with it” and accepting it was coming every night, it got less and less intense. And by time I started lifting out my body, it stopped coming altogether. But I was still able to instinctively know when I could lift out every night. It just became routine and natural.

But yes, it was a process. It took a while for me to fully let go and go with it. That fear of the unknown is real. But I’m trying to tell people, you have to do this shyt.

I've had sleep paralysis a few times. shyt is weird as fukk. it has been years since I had it tho.

it's incredibly scary the first time you get it and don't know what it is, but the last time I got it, I was aware that I was having sleep paralysis. shyt was weird as fukk, but kinda cool at the same time when I knew what I was experiencing.
