Diagnosed in 2009, along with Dyspraxia. The actual diagnosis was for High Functioning Autism, but the symptoms are virtually identical - it's all on the spectrum.
I did have an original diagnosis at 5 years old, but when it was discovered I would have to go to special school, my mum basically said fukk that and sent me to normal school instead, where I had to get intense speech therapy among other special needs. Ironic that having had speech therapy, I got pretty good at rapping in my teens
Honestly though, the later diagnosis fukked me up a bit - it was good in helping me discover a lot more about life in general, but it also led to a continuation of really poor life decisions on my part that I haven't even really began to rectify properly. The really annoying part is that as much as it may become more manageable as time goes on, it never goes away.
