He coulda won more POV or HOH. You can backstab but it's the way he did it. Personally, I would have backstab but made it look like someone else was the leader. Like it wasn't my fault. Like I wanted you to stay. Again, partly his social game was tremendous. And partly it was his downfall even if their minds weren't made up.
Reason why i stopped watching this BS show years ago....the ending is asscheeks..you cant let spiteful ass housemates vote on the winner...You play a great game and then your screwed by petty asses who still mad cuz you voted them out or other BS reasons (won previously) Should be a previous seasons house guests that vote or an arbitrary panel...

The 3 greatest players ever in the history of Big Brother hardly won shyt. Will never won a comp in his life, Dan and Danielle Reyes hardly won anything. Comp wins are meaningless. Great players don't have to rely on comps to save their lives. Dr. Will always said the worst thing you can possible do in Big Brother is win an HOH. All it does is put a target on your back and piss people off.
Dan was not going to win Big Brother 14 no matter how he played. Since the reset button was hit the house guest were saying that they would NEVER vote for a coach to win especially one that won before. Shane, Jenn and Joe said that constantly. Dan's only shot at winning was sitting next to Mike Boogie. Once he left he was playing for second place. In the backyard interviews Jenn and Joe basically said that Dan played the best, but he won before and they wanted someone new to win. Such a joke, but its the truth. Jenn loved Dan, but hated Ian. YET she still voted for Ian to win and Dan never backstabbed her.

Finally watched this season.
And if this doesn't solidify Dan as the goat than, I don't know what does. This nikka is Satan for real. I don't know how he does it. There is no way this dude should have even been close to the final 2, but he still finds a way. Like he said, he can sell ice to an Eskimo. I don't care if Ian won or not. He wasn't as targeted as Dan. Only person that targeted him was Frank.

He is right there with Jordan. He was completely clueless 99% of the time. He went around saying he created the Quack Pack, but it was an alliance that created a week before Dan and Britney included him so he could be their 5th vote. He took credit for getting Boogie out, but Britney, Shane and Danielle wanted to break up the Silence Six long before Ian snitched on them.
Britney and Dan had complete control over him.
